How to play Chiri Party: hear it, copy it, share the chaos.

Chiri Party is a free Malayalam voice party game for one to eight players. It runs in a modern browser: no app download, account or special controller needed.

One round, four simple moments

Each player gets the same prompt and one chance to make it their own.

Get everyone in

Create a private room and share its code, join a random public party, or choose solo practice.

Check the microphone

Allow microphone access and complete the short mic check before you ready up.

Listen and imitate

Everyone hears the same short reference, then gets one take to copy its delivery.

Hear the results

Takes play one at a time, scores appear, reactions fly, and the points add up across rounds.

Choose the room that fits the moment

Practice alone, invite your own group, or meet players through public matchmaking.

Private party

The host creates a room, chooses a sound pack and round count, then shares the eight-character code.

  • Two to eight friends can play together.
  • Everyone chooses a character and readies up.
  • The host can add short custom clips in the lobby.

Random party or solo

Public matching finds an available group. Solo mode gives you three quick practice rounds with just the mic and the stage.

  • Public parties use a shared mixed playlist.
  • New arrivals watch an active round and join the next one.
  • Solo practice is useful for checking audio before inviting friends.

What the score actually measures

The score is a playful acoustic comparison calculated on your device—not a verdict on talent or comedy.

It listens for sound shape

Your take is aligned with the reference and compared for rhythm, energy, melody and texture. A different voice can still follow the same pitch movement and timing.

It does not understand words

The local scorer does not judge meaning, accent, humor or acting skill. Noise, clipping or a very quiet recording can reduce confidence or make a score unavailable.

Microphone and voice chat

Use headphones when possible, keep the browser tab audible and speak close enough to your microphone without shouting.

  • Microphone permission is requested when you prepare to play, not merely to read this guide.
  • Voice chat closes while everyone records, so your friends’ voices do not end up in your take.
  • The short count-in finishes before the recording begins.
  • If the mic check cannot hear you, confirm the browser input device and operating-system permission, then try again.
  • If playback is silent, check the page volume and tap the audio-resume control if the browser blocked autoplay.

Quick troubleshooting

  • Room code rejected: check all eight characters and confirm the host still has the room open.
  • Friends cannot hear you: verify the selected mic and the voice-chat mute button.
  • Take is too quiet: move closer, select the correct input and avoid Bluetooth headset modes that mute unexpectedly.
  • A round is already running: stay in the room; you can watch now and participate in the next round.
